Back on April 21-22, we had an event up in Echuca at one of the VMAA state fields. The conditions of the field were really quite good considering how dry it had been; there had been some rain in the lead-up, improving the grass covering.
We only flew the F3T Q500 and E2K classes this weekend, as F3D fliers elected not to compete. The weather turned out to be fantastic: beautiful sunny days each day, a little bit warm, not too hot, and just light breezes. All in all, a really great weekend.
